Q: How do I figure out what step I'm on?
A: Use the gross salary of your first September pay. Multiply that by 22. The answer is the annual salary you are making for the year. Find that salary on the guide and the step it corresponds with. Individuals with 18 or less years will find that their years of experience equal the step on the guide. First year teachers start at step one.
Q: What do I do if I'm not on the correct step?
A: Contact the personnel office and inform them of the mistake.
